Very Good
Great freebies - instant machine with coffee, matcha, tea and water, Yakult in the mornings, ice cream in the afternoon, and ramen at night. The onsen was beautiful and the few massage chairs were a good addition. Room was very spacious compared to other Japanese hotels. The no shoes rule was a nice addition.
The bed and pillows were extremely hard for my liking, and the place was overly crowded with tour buses coming in and out at all times.

The highlight is the Japanese style hotel & food & onsen. We had really great experience as whole family. This is the BEST hotel we stayed in Japan ( out of 4 that we stayed ) . Thank you . We highly recommended this place.

Love the hotel.really unique and feel like stay in japanese house.especially the outdoor onsen .the service of reception staff excellent.will stay here when we in kyoto

Beautiful place to stay as a solo female traveller, a taste of traditional japanese accommodation with so western comfor
Such an amazing stay! Onsen, massage chairs, beautiful rooms, complimentary amenities like ramen, ice cream, probiotics etc. highly recommend. I would note that the rooms are advertised as ‘shared bathroom’ but this refers to the natural hot spring onsen, every room has its own toilet and shower.
